Are cleaners background checked, insured and bonded?

Yes, our entire team is carefully selected and go through a full background check prior to employment. Each team member is insured, and we are bonded for the protection of our customers and staff members. Here at Touch of Luxury, safety and trustworthiness is something we absolutely take pride in.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, we do require at least 48 hours of notice for a cancellation. There will be a charge of 50% of the estimated amount for cancellations that result in less than 48 hours of notice. Please reach out to our team if you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason at all, at the end of the day we want to provide the best service possible at a time that works best for you!

How much will it cost to clean my home?

As previously stated, each job is unique to itself. If you would like a real time quote over the phone, to get all the details we need for an “instant quote,” one can be provided!

How long will my cleaning take?

Each and every job is not one in the same unfortunately, and we give our best estimated completion time based of the information we are provided prior to starting each job. If a cleaning takes longer than expected, we charge a pro-rated hourly rate of $35/hour.

Do I have to be home when my cleaning occurs?

We understand that many people have busy schedules and cannot always be home at the time of their scheduled cleanings, but rest assured that is not a problem. When you schedule a cleaning with Touch of Luxury and you will not be home, inform us the best way to access the property, whether that is through a pin code, key, etc.

What happens if my cleaner doesn't show up in the estimated time slot?

If your cleaner does not arrive within the designated one-hour arrival window, please contact our team as jobs may take longer than anticipated.

What type of products do you use to clean?

The health and safety of both our customers and team members is a top priority here at Touch of Luxury. All of the products that we use are safe and eco-friendly for all. Upon booking confirmation, we will send a full list of each and every product that we will be using to complete your cleaning.

What do I do with my pets while you are cleaning?

We love our pets just as much as you do! If your pet is friendly, they may stay with you while the cleaning is being conducted. If not, we ask that they are kept in separate room or outside if weather permits. Your pet will then need to be moved to complete the room they are staying in, when the time comes.

What happens if I see things that were not properly cleaned?

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the results of your cleaning, please provide documentation of such. At Touch of Luxury, we live by our motto of, “DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.” If that is not the case, we will do everything we can to correct the issue free of charge.

Should I tip my maid?

Leaving a high quality, no corners cut type of service, is something we take the most pride in. 100% of all tips will go directly to your assigned cleaner. If you would like to leave a tip, please leave it designated as, “Touch of Luxury Tip.” If you are conducting an electronic payment please contact the office and we can add it to your invoice.
